| Bio: | Speak to the Cosmos...and listen to the reply. Can you hear it? I find it has a lot of interesting things to say. The sun sings and the moon glows. The distant stars tell ancient stories. One never feels so small, yet so large, as when one looks at the night sky to see a billion points of light looking back down. The 'verse is a shiny, wonderous place and it's comforting to know that we're made of the same stuff as the stars, isn't it? Okay, enough of the cosmic philosophy. Let me tell you a little about who I am at the moment. I live in the Temple of the Bath with two excellent friends who are really more like family. I'm a monogamous straight woman in a community of poly and not necessarily straight folk (I've always liked to be contrary). I'm proud to have friends of almost every religious persuasion but I spend most of my time with my pagan tribe. I have friends and family in far-flung places and one day I might get to visit them all! I'm currently single and looking but my standards are rather high. Only the brave, daring, and honorable need apply. (Other helpful qualities: funny, smart, cool, open-minded, optimistic, unmarried, and loyal) Things that make me REALLY happy (in no particular order): Optimistic/happy folks, excellent sex, delicious food, divine beverages, great parties (the best mix is 30% people you know/70% people you don't know), community gatherings/service (like the Ancient Ways Fest, Pantheacon, Stone City gatherings, and Pagan Alliance events), swimming in the ocean (preferably without a suit), wandering in the woods, communing with the Cosmos, being in love and being loved back, hanging out with friends and family, etc. Things that make me REALLY unhappy (in no particular order): racist/sexist/otherwise biased fools, negative/toxic people, religious fanatics, people who refuse to take responsibility for their actions, the current presidential regime, the fact that after all this time, humanity as a whole has been unable to evolve past violence and greed (so freakin' WHAT if it's in our genes, dammit!), the world's population explosion (which I believe it the cause of most of the planet's environmental damage), etc. All in all, life's been good to me and, truly, I do feel blessed. The world, with all it's scary ugliness, is still filled with beauty and wonder.
